As we know that many schemes are launched by the government, once again during the budget session, the government has launched the Namo Shree scheme for pregnant women. Under this scheme, women are eligible to get assistance up to 12 thousand rupees during pregnancy.
The biggest budget in history was presented by Kanubhai Desai, Finance Minister of Gujarat Government. In which he has announced Namo Shri Yojana to provide financial assistance to pregnant sisters and expectant mothers. Under this scheme, it has been announced to provide assistance of 12 thousand rupees to the beneficiary pregnant sisters and mothers.
Under this scheme, during the year 2024-25, financial assistance of 12 thousand rupees will be provided to pregnant sisters and mothers by spending a total of 725 crore rupees. So that the pregnant sisters can maintain their health and the mother can nourish the newborn baby.

According to a report, about 12 lakh newborns are born every year in Gujarat. Many of these children die due to malnutrition. So the main objective of the Gujarat government is to provide security to newborn babies and mothers.
