Whatsapp Banking in State Bank Of India: No matter what the sector, nowadays the use of technology has become necessary for everyone. Now the country's largest bank SBI has also started WhatsApp Banking, taking a step forward in the direction of technology. With this new facility, you will be able to do a lot of work only through Whatsapp without going to the branch. You will be able to get information about your bank balance and mini statement by chatting on the WhatsApp number issued by the bank.

Know how to use

First of all you have to get yourself registered with SBI. For this, you have to give space by writing WAREG. Then you will have to send an SMS to 7208933148 by writing your account number. The format for sending this message will be as follows: - WAREG <space>Account Number and send it to 7208933148. While sending the message, special care has to be taken that send the message from the same number, which is registered in your SBI account. When your registration is done, a message will come on your WhatsApp number from SBI's number 90226 90226. If you want, you can also save this number

This green alert from Bank of Baroda means, your password is strong. Other than that yellow color means your password is average. As well as red color means that your password is not strong. We need to be mindful of the red, yellow and green marks when creating the password.

M-Connect plus’ is Bank of Baroda’s state-of-the-art, feature rich Mobile Banking application. 

This app takes you through your Banking world, where you can access wide range of Banking facilities right from simple Balance enquiry to cardless cash withdrawal facility. 

All services can be accessed free of cost except one-time SMS charge (for silent SMS) upon the first-time activation, GPRS/Mobile internet charges applicable as per service provider and fund transfer using IMPS/NEFT. 

To avail this service, you just have to follow 3 simple steps: Download application, Register and Activate.  

1. Download the application 

2. Register: You have 4 options to register.

- Self-Registration using your debit card details (See below for more details)

- Register using Bank of Baroda’s Internet banking (Baroda Connect)

- Register through Bank of Baroda ATM

- Submit a simple form to your base branch.

Once you register, you will receive 4-digit mPIN (Mobile Banking password) through SMS. 

3. Activate:

- Click confirm on silent SMS page

- Click confirm on OTP page

- Create your own application/login password (4-digit number)

- Read and accept Terms & conditions

- mPIN change page: Enter the mPIN received through SMS and create your own mPIN (4-digit number) 

You are now ready to use a very Secure, Convenient & User friendly Mobile Banking application!
