Gujarat Council of Educational Research and Training (GCERT) is a leading state-level institution for enhancing quality education in the state and state-level primary and secondary schools, Before 1988, it was the State Institute
of Education. It was later upgraded to SCERT in 1988 under a resolution of the State Education Department. The Upgraded SCERT, now known as the Gujarat Council of Educational Research and Training (GCERT), is a fully-fledged state-level educational institution and is managed and guided by a board of directors as well as an executive committee.
When a work includes all the qualities (practical and theoretical) related to that work, then it is seen and understood as the quality of that work and this aspect is also there in education. When we talk about quality in education, then we will consider such education as quality which gives the benefit of that education to the students.
Quality education means such education which fulfills the objectives of its construction well. If we talk about the modern age, then it would be wrong to call the education of any country quality. The present education has failed to achieve its objectives. Quality education usually includes the same education. Who understands the interest and abilities of the students in teaching-learning and fulfills the needs of the society and makes the students earn a living. If we talk about India, then in India you will find many such educated people who are unemployed even after getting education. On average, educated people are unemployed and it is a matter of shame for our education system.
