Rural and Urban Vigilance Committees

In these committees, women members of Gram Panchayat, Sarpanch of Talati, Gram Panchayat as well as two cardholders from below poverty line are appointed as members. This Vigilance Committee has to monitor the income and distribution of essential commodities at fair price shops. This is necessary along with regularly checking the stock register and sales register held at the fair price shop
