The state government has made an important announcement before Diwali for state employees. Not only that, the last 6 months dearness allowance could not be paid to the state employees. Now before Diwali, class 4 employees will be given an expensive allowance of Rs 3,500. Retired employees will also benefit.

The Government of Gujarat has given Diwali gifts to government employees. The state government has increased the dearness allowance of government employees. The difference of 6 months dearness allowance will be paid.

 This evening, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel held a press conference and gave a big Diwali gift to government employees. Nitin Patel said that government employees are standing firm in the Koro epidemic. The festivities are starting a few days later. The state government has then decided that the difference in the 6-month inflation allowance will be paid to government employees.

 DyCM Nitin Patel further said that the deferred dearness allowance of government employees will be paid by the government and the difference of 6 months dearness allowance will be paid. The Deputy Chief Minister said that the decision was taken as the revenue of the state government was increasing. In which one installment of three months amount will be paid. And the state government will pay Rs 464 crore for this, followed by three months.
