 A 25 percent discount is offered on locker charges

 Salary account holders are being given a discount of up to 25 per cent on locker charges from the bank.  So customers get auto sweep facility for higher interest on savings account.  Salary account holders can bundle their demat and trading account if they wish.

 Offering Zero Balance Salary Account

 Under SBI's offer, if you open your own salary account in SBI, your account will be a completely zero balance account.  There will be no obligation for you to have a minimum balance.  You can withdraw full money from the account at any time.

You can withdraw from any bank's ATM whenever you want

 On opening a salary account in SBI, the bank offers you unlimited transactions from ATMs.  Under which you can withdraw money from any bank's ATM whenever you want.  There will be no ATM withdrawal limit for you and you will not have to pay any charges for withdrawing money.

 Insurance will be available on opening a salary account

 Customers who open a salary account from the bank will be given personal accident insurance of Rs 20 lakh.  Under which if you die in an accident, you will get an amount of Rs 20 lakh.

 The category of your account has been decided by the bank according to your salary.  For example, if you are working in a corporate company and your salary is between Rs 10,000 to Rs 25,000, your account will fall in the silver category, if your salary is up to Rs 50,000, your account will fall in the gold category.  With a salary of up to Rs 1 lakh, your account will be in the diamond category.  So if your salary is more than Rs 1 lakh, your account will fall in the platinum category.  Depending on the category of the account, various types of facilities are being provided by the bank.
