 The benefit of RTGS can be availed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

 The Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) rules are set to change in December.  The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) recently decided to make RTGS available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with effect from December 2020.  In that case, you will now be able to use this feature 24 * 7 days.  RTGS is currently open on all working days of banks (except second and fourth Saturdays) from 7 am to 6 pm.  NEFT has been working 24 hours since December 2019.

 New trains will run from December 1

 The railways are now slowly starting all the trains again.  Now some trains are going to start operating from 1st December.  These include Jhelum Express and Punjab Mail.  Both the trains are running under general category.  01077/78 Pune-Jammu Tawi, Pune Jhelum Special and 02137/38 Mumbai Ferozepur Punjab Mail Special will run daily.

 PNB changed the rules for withdrawing money from ATMs. 

 Punjab National Bank (PNB) is going to implement PNB 2.0 One Time Password (OTP) based Cash Withdrawal facility from December 1.  One-time cash withdrawals of more than Rs 10,000 from PNB 2.0 ATMs from 8 pm to 8 am from December 1 will now be OTP based.  That is, PNB customers will need an OTP to withdraw more than Rs 10,000 during these night hours.  This OTP will come to your registered mobile number.

 The price of a gas cylinder will change. 

 The country's oil companies fix the price of LPG cylinders on the first of every month.  Its prices may also increase and relief may be available.  In such a case, the price of the cylinder may change on 1 December.  In November, oil companies increased the price of commercial cylinders.
