NTSE Exam
National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a National Level scholarship program in India to identify and nurture talented students. It honours and helps talented students by providing financial assistance in monthly scholarship for the entire Academic Career. Students studying in Class X are eligible to appear for the selection process. As it is organized by NCERT, it is widely regarded as the most prestigious examination at high school level in India.

NCERT has released the NTSE 2020 notification on its official website. Candidates studying in class 10th in the current academic year can apply for NTSE 2020.
What is NTSE Exam for Class 10
NTSE exam is the National level scholarship program by Government of India and most venerated exam of India. It is not only about scholarship but a matter of great pride and honour for every student to be recognised as the nation’s talent. There is a two-stage selection process for award of scholarship. For Stage - I, selection will be done by States/UTs through the written examination. Each State/Union Territory has been allotted a quota to recommend a specific number of candidates for the Stage - II examination, the details of which are available on NCERT website. Students who qualify Stage - I will be eligible to appear for Stage - II examination conducted by NCERT.
NTSE Exam Eligibility
National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a National-Level Scholarship Program at the Secondary School level to identify and recognise students with high intellect and academic talent.
NTSE Stage-I is conducted by State/UT bodies. Only Indian students are eligible to appear in this level.
The students studying in Class X are eligible for appearing in the test.
They are required to have obtained 60% marks in their Class IX, in the last academic year.
Student must be studying in a recognized school in the respective State or Union Territory.
NTSE Syllabus
The syllabus of the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) 2021 is broadly based on topics covered in Classes 9th and 10th. There are objective type questions for both papers i.e. Mental Ability Test and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) on relevant topics.

The NTSE Syllabus is provided here so that students can prepare for the exam in a better way. Only 10th standard students (below 18 years of age) are eligible to appear for the examination. Before starting the preparation, candidates must have a clear knowledge of NTSE exam pattern as well as NTSE syllabus.
