The claim that the Narendra Modi government at the Center will reopen all schools in phases from September 21 is being repeated in a message on WhatsApp.  The message also claims that classes will start in all colleges from October 1.

The message claimed that Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal had announced that all schools would be reopened in phases from September 21.  However, the Modi government has clarified that Education Minister Pokhriyal has not made any such statement.  According to the guideline issued by Modi government for Unlock 4, students from Std. 9 to Std. 12 can go to school to get guidance from teachers.

But it is completely wrong to say that all schools and colleges will be opened in phases from September 21.

The WhatsApp message claims that Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has announced that all schools for Std 9 to Std 12 will be opened from September 21.  Fifteen days later, classes from standard 6 to standard 8 will start.  Then after 15 days classes from standard 1 to standard 5 will be started.  This claim has been refuted by the Press Information Bureau (PIB) of the Modi government.

Even before this, messages were circulating on social media that the Narendra Modi government at the Center was preparing to open schools and colleges from September 1.  Such reports were also published in some newspapers but the Modi government at the Center termed these reports as completely false.

The Modi government clarified that no decision has been taken by the Modi government to open schools from September 1.  It was clarified through the Press Information Bureau (PIB) on behalf of the Modi government that these reports were misleading and baseless.  This time too, the government has ruled out opening schools and colleges.

Distance education may be able to help to save students a considerable amount financially by removing the cost of transportation.[81] In addition, distance education may be able to save students from the economic burden of high-priced course textbooks. Many textbooks are now available as electronic textbooks, known as e-textbooks, which can offer digital textbooks for a reduced price in comparison to traditional textbooks. Also, the increasing improvements in technology have resulted in many school libraries having a partnership with digital publishers that offer course materials for free, which can help students significantly with educational costs

Sometimes, e-learning is able to overcome all of the above problems. The students accessed the training platform, they did not encounter any technical problems, they completed the course within the deadline and were able to practice what they learned. However, what impact did the training have on your organization? Did it improve your company’s human capital? Do you have results you can show to your superiors? Many e-learning projects fail for the simple reason that they did not have an impact on the organization overall.
